Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where do you get coupons?
Everywhere! Online printables, magazines, newspaper inserts, peelies, tear pads, swaps, trades, there is a whole world of coupons out there. Just look around you and you'll start to spot them

2. How do I organize my coupons?

I prefer the binder method. A 3 inch 3 ring zipper binder with baseball card holders to put my coupons in. Some people are better with the accordion files. There are several methods. Find what works for you.

3. Do you really save enough money to make it worth it?

DEFINITELY I have cut my monthly budget for food, HBA, and cleaning from about 500.00 a month to maybe 140.00 a month! The key is to start small. I like to tell everyone make it your goal to use ONE coupon every time you go to the store. Go home put the money you saved by using the coupon in a jar. At the end of the month if you haven't saved enough to make it worth it, QUIT. It's that simple. Just be warned that getting stuff REALLY cheap or even FREE is addicting! Once you find your first free deal I can almost guarantee you'll be hooked

4. Do you really get stuff for free?

Yes all the time. No strings no money paid to get it back via ECB (extra care buck at CVS) or rebates, I walk out of the store spending NO MONEY and no I'm not stealing it..

5. How do you find the time to coupon?

Well just like everything else in life you have to prioritize. I usually spend my evenings clipping and sorting coupons about 2 days a week. More if I have let myself get behind. You can invest as much time as you want. It can be time consuming but it doesn't have to be. Don't let it overwhelm you

If you have more questions, please feel free to ask and I'll add them to this list.

Until next time: HAPPY COUPONING!
